Older style, 3 bedroom house in Cowes, The property has a large fully fenced back yard with a lock up garage.
This is a great beach holiday house to enjoy an affordable break with the family.
Walking distance to the beach and short 2 minute drive into Cowes main street.
The living area has a reverse cycle air conditioner that heats and cools. (Sorry the coonara wood fire not working). No wifi.
PET FRIENDLY - this property requires a $200 dog bond, on approval which is returned once the property has been checked for poop/digging/scratches/damage etc.

LINEN NOT SUPPLIED
Doonas with covers and pillows are supplied, however, YOU are required to bring your own LINEN, (top/bottom sheets, towels, bathmats and pillowcases) or you can hire these for an extra $25 per person. Please advise us if you wish to hire linen prior to arrival. Beds made up is an extra $15 per bed and must be advised a minimum of 7 days in advance of arrival.

GUESTS upon booking MUST advise ages of all guests. STRICTLY no Schoolies, Bucks Parties, Hens Parties. It is a requirement of our owners to obtain number of guests staying at this property.

This property does not have any policies, procedures or resources in place to accommodate the unique needs of school graduates during the annual 'Schoolies Week' period. It does not have adequate resources to engage qualified security personnel to guarantee the safety, comfort and convenience of school graduate guests during this period.
If at any time we find you are accommodating more people than you have booked for, you will be evicted immediately and extra charges may apply. All bookings are subject to owner confirmation and approval.

You will be required to sign The Guest Registration Form and provide us with a copy of your Drivers Licence & Credit Card prior to your arrival OR on check in.

NON SMOKING POLICY: applies to all of our holiday rental properties both inside and outside the property - extra cleaning charges may apply for any butts found on the property.

Bookings - are accepted by First National in good faith as agents for the property owners. Bonds: Some properties charge a guest bond.

CANCELLATION POLICY 2024
Upon booking a 50% deposit is payable immediately.
The total balance is payable 30 days prior to arrival.
Cancellation requests before the 30 days of arrival - 50% deposit will be refunded
Cancellations less than 30 days prior to arrival – No money will be refunded

KEY COLLECTION - All keys must be picked up and must be returned to our office in Cowes. You will be required to sign The Guest Registration Form and provide our office with a copy of your Drivers License & Credit Card prior to your arrival OR on check in.
AFTER HOURS KEY COLLECTION MUST BE ARRANGED WITH US THE DAY BEFORE ARRIVAL.

    We had a lovely stay. Beds were great but kitchen chairs functional but I feel need replacing and lighting in kitchen could be improved otherwise was a nice place to stay.

    This house is in a good location ,and was quite clean overall.
    The house is in serious need of maintenance, and I mean professional maintenance not slum landlord DIY.
    The garage lock fell off due to rust. Front door was difficult to open due to dodgy trimming of the closing edge.
    3rd bedroom had totally unacceptable spring bed that woke up other guests.Front yard was a disgrace.
    This house needed a bit of love and attention.
    Unlikely to stay there again.

    Nothing flash but ok, 10 minutes walk to the beach which wasn’t crowded and dog friendly, our Labrador loved it.
    Could do with some TLC, it was a little tired and could do with a deep clean. Just beware that there’s no wifi, didn’t bother us but if you have kids it might be good to know.

    This place was perfectly located for us, we could walk into town or easily access other parts of the island. The location was quiet and private, the yard is huge and we felt secure. The amenities were great, The bathroom was an older style but everything worked and was clean. The house had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. It would be great to have wifi on site but the mobile reception was fine in the house. We'd happily stay here again!

    The house was close to everything and very neat and tidy. The backyard is huge but the fencing needs to be repaired especially if you have a dog. Very relaxing and has everything you need.

    Wow! We were really impressed with our stay here. First, the reception staff was super friendly and welcoming. The property itself was very clean and spacious, the five of us found it very relaxing. Shops for takeaway and morning coffee are walking distance, as is the beach, so the location is perfect. Best of all there is a large fully enclosed back yard, so our Jack Russell had plenty of space to run around and play fetch. A+ stay, thank you!

    It is in a great spot and a good price for how late we booked, unfortunately, we had issues with the hot water service and as it is pet friendly the carpet was littered with cat hair which caused a lot of issues with allergies.

    A big open backyard for our dog to run around. Plenty of shelter too as you can open the garage door from the yard for your dog to access.
    Yes, the carpet in the bedrooms has seen a few holidays, but the house and yard were nice and clean and tidy.
    Easy walk for coffee and supermarkets. Lovely stroll down the Main Street to the beach of an evening.

    This was generally a great stay and the real estate agent was very lovely to deal with (especially compared to another one on the island). Although it couldn't be predicted, the island's power was out the night we arrived and because there were no candles or torches at the house we struggled a bit - the supermarket supply was instantly snapped up.
    A great location - not far to shops and beach. The bedroom carpets could do with a bit of a clean (suspicious stains made my friend nervous), but otherwise the condition of the house was very good, comfortable and the kitchen had all the basics available for cooking and serving meals. Great contained yard for dogs
    Would definitely stay again and recommend to those looking for budget accommodation.

    If you're holidaying with your fur children this is a good house with a great backyard. Cowes' main strip shops and beach are only a 10 minutes stroll away. Don't let the outside exterior fool you, the interior has been given a make-over with beach decor.
